Global Project Head

The GPH ensures delivery of the strategy taking into account country specificities, competitive environment, innovation and cutting edge technologies. The GPH also drives execution of the Project  via support from functional team members and associated sub-teams and acts as a leader/mentor/coach for the team. The GPH is accountable for structuring the Project Team in collaboration with Partner(s) if required. The GPH also decides on team composition in collaboration with functions and platforms and ensures the execution of the project in compliance with timelines & budget and, through team activities, delivers the data and information to make the best project decisions based on Company objectives.  The GPH is expected to drive projects forward to each stage-gate milestone according to timeline. The GPH ensures objective setting of the NV project in partnership with the functions and defines NV project budget and  head count in conjunction with respective functions and platforms. The GPH is also responsible for identifying project issues and their related resolution plans and elevating them to the relevant governance committee (s). The GPH develops effective working relationships with significant influencers (i.e. opinion leaders) at multiple levels (internally and  externally) and ensures alignment and  coordination with major stakeholders across the company including external partners. The GPH is an ambassador of the project and is the main project point of contact for Sanofi Pasteur globally and in this role ensures the communication of the Project to relevant parties (internally and externally). Responsibilities Leads a cross-functional Global Project Team in the development and registration of vaccines for new target areas Maintains a high performance team through effective team building, communication and leadership skills. Jointly with functional heads, supervises project team members on their assignments within the project by defining annual objectives and providing regular feedback Leads the development of the project strategy, objectives, scope and plan in line with portfolio strategy and Target Product Profile The GPH must be able to effectively communicate strategy and issues to senior management.  Must be a good negotiator and maintain visibility of issues.  Presents updates, recommendations and requests for concurrence to various governing committees; supports and advises Project Team members in the preparation and presentation of project strategies to various strategic forums. Requirements & Qualifications PhD (in a science field), MD, or Pharm.D. degree and at least 5-10 years of prior vaccine development experience, or B.S., M.S. degree or MBA and at least 5-10 years of experience in other vaccine disciplines such as Industrial Affairs, Regulatory, R&D, or Commercial.  Demonstrated ability to lead large cross functional teams or initiatives Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness required to build and maintain successful relationships within and outside of the Company Previous project management experience is beneficial What makes this position unique? The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
