Position: Occupational Nurse Manager ( RN )
Location: Swiftwater, PA
Type: Biotech - research & development
Status: Full time, Monday to friday
Duties:
o Coordinates clinical operations for PA, MD & FL
o Manage and support staff both clinical and non-clinical
o Management of medical surveillance programs.
o Input in work risk assessments; work related injuries and illnesses prevention, accommodations and return to work.
o Oversee management the Medical Response Teams for the remote sites
o Manage the OH budget for the region.
o Visit the sites (both locally and remotely) as needed.
o Collaborate with Medical Director and fellow OHNs in projects, initiatives, stakeholder management, and strategies.
o Partner with HSE, HR, and Legal.
o Provide required reporting, stats, etc as required by
o Performs Disability and Workers' Compensations RTW case management functions.
o Triage, counseling, patient education, emergency visits, first aid,
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
o Current license to practice as a registered nurse.
o COHN-S preferred
o Minimum of 4 years experience in Occupational Health in a large corporation
o Management experience preferred
o certification in spirometry, hearing and phlebotomy prefered
o Knowledge of Regulations such as: HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, Worker's Compensation, OSHA
o Computer skills
o Knowledge of biosafety and biological risks
o Additional nursing licenses in other states may be required
